Celia del Palacio Montiel has a doctorate in history from UNAM, a member of the National System of Researchers Level 3, of the Mexican Academy of Science, and of PEN Mexico. She works as a researcher and teacher at the Center for Culture and Communication Studies at the Universidad Veracruzana. Her main research topics cover the history of the press and violence against journalists in the regions of Mexico. She is the author of nine books and coordinator and co-author of sixteen more, as well as a significant number of academic articles in indexed and journals.

Pilar Riaño-Alcalá (Ph.D., Anthropology, University of British Columbia) is a professor at the Institute of Social Justice at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and co-director of the Memory and Justice program. Her academic work explores issues related to memories, social reparation, orality, performance, and mass violence. She was a researcher for the Group of Historical Memory of Colombia and advisor to the Museum of Historical Memory in Colombia.

Alexandra Ortiz Wallner has a doctorate in romanistics from the University of Potsdam (Germany) and a master's degree in Latin American literature from the University of Costa Rica where she studied Spanish philology, Central American history, and philosophy. She is a researcher at the Institute of Latin American Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, an institution in which she has worked as a teacher in the areas of Latin American literature and cultures and Gender Studies.

Mara Viveros Vigoya is a doctor in Anthropology, School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences of Paris (EHESS); Master in Latin American Studies (IHEAL, Paris III), and an economist at the National University of Colombia. Titular Professor of the Faculty of Human Sciences of the National University of Colombia, she has taught and developed a good part of her research projects since 1998 in the Department of Anthropology and the School of Gender Studies, where she was a director in 2010-2012 and 2016-2018.

Bruno López Petzoldt is a Doctor in Literature and Cinema, and a graduate in Hispanic Literature and Media Cultures from the University of Hamburg in Germany. As a researcher, he is a member of the Frankfurt Memory Studies Platform of the University of Frankfurt, and visiting professor of the Master Moving Cultures: Transcultural Encounters of the same. He was also a fellow of the German Academic Exchange System (DAAD) in Argentina and Brazil.

Martin Ribadero is a Doctor of Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Social Sciences. Previously, he completed a Master's Degree in Sociology of Culture and Cultural Analysis at the Institute of High Social Studies-National University of San Martín (UNSAM), where he is now a regular associate Professor at the School of Humanities.

Camila Braga is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of International Relations (IRI) of the University of São Paulo and the Center for Advanced Studies of Latin America (CALAS) at the University of Costa Rica (regional headquarters). She is a founding member of the Center for Conflict and Peace Studies (PCC) of the University of São Paulo.

Luis Berneth Peña Reyes, Ph.D. in Social Geography from the University of Rennes 2, in France. He is a professor and researcher on security issues, peacebuilding with a territorial and local approach. Researcher at the Center for Reconciliation Studies at the University of Jena in Germany. Scientific collaborator of ARCOSUR. I have been a teacher and researcher at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Leipzig in Germany, FLACSO in Quito, Universidad Externado de Colombia. Founder member of the Latin American Critical Root Geography network.

Pablo Alabarces (Buenos Aires, 1961) has a degree in Literature (University of Buenos Aires), Magister in Sociology of Culture (National University of San Martín), and Doctor of Sociology (University of Brighton). He is a Titular Professor of Popular Culture at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, where he directed his Ph.D. between 2004 and 2010, and Senior Researcher at CONICET. His research includes studies on popular music, popular cultures, and soccer cultures.

Martín Bergel (Buenos Aires, 1973) is a Doctor in History from the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature of the University of Buenos Aires (2010). Researcher at the Center for Intellectual History of the National University of Quilmes, and professor of Contemporary Latin American History at the University of San Martín (Buenos Aires). He is a member of the collective editor of the yearbook Prismas. Journal of Intellectual History. He was a visiting researcher at the Free University of Berlin and Harvard University. He published The Displaced Orient.
