El 15 de junio toma lugar el “Calas-Fest de saberes: crisis ecológicas y prácticas alternativas en el antropoceno”. Es un lugar de intercambio de saberes, prácticas, experiencias relacionados a problemas medioambientales en la era del Antropoceno. Invita a un diálogo entre movimientos sociales, académicos y sociedad civil en torno de las múltiples crisis socio-ambientales. Facilita un espacio de encuentro en el cual los diferentes grupos están invitados a presentar sus trabajos y proyectos e intercambiar sus experiencias.

To promote transregional dialogue and exchange between researchers, the Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies (CALAS) is accepting applications for a dual research fellowship (three to six months) inside its program “Transatlantic Tandem”, located at its headquarters in Guadalajara, Mexico. Two researchers – one affiliated with a Latin American academic institution and the other one affiliated with a German academic institution -will work collaboratively on a particular research topic related to the CALAS overall research approach.
