Elba Tyanif Rico Rodriguez

Tyanif Rico Rodríguez is a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. Researcher in Environmental Humanities interested in Latin American Environmental History and Local struggles for Territorial Care. I’m teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology and at the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University.

Sabrina Fernandes

Sabrina Fernandes has a PhD in Sociology and a Master's in Political Economy from Carleton University, Canada. She is currently a fellow with CALAS at the University of Guadalajara. Previously, a Full Collaborating Researcher at the University of Brasília, visiting researcher with the Latin American Institute at Freie Universität Berlin, senior research fellow in the Department of Political Science at the University of Vienna, and a fellow of the International Research Group on Authoritarianism and Counter-Strategies of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung.

Bieke Willem

Bieke Willem is professor of Romance literature at the University of Cologne, Germany, and senior researcher at the Global South Studies Center (GSSC). She holds a PhD in literature from the University of Ghent, Belgium (2014). She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley and then as a lecturer at Stockholm University, Sweden, specializing in contemporary Latin American literature. She has contributed to books and academic journals with articles on memories of the Chilean (post)dictatorship, on the literary representation of space, and on its effect in literature and film.

Wolfgang Fuhrmann

Wolfgang Fuhrmann is a researcher and lecturer in Film Studies. He received his PhD in Film Studies from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Prior to that he completed a Master of Arts in Film and Television Studies at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. From 2005 to 2008 he was Senior Researcher in the German Research Society (DFG) project 'Film and Ethnography in Germany, 1900-1930' at the University of Kassel, Germany. From 2008 until 2017, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Film at the University of Zurich, Switzerland.

Nelson Arellano-Escudero

Nelson Arellano-Escudero holds a PhD in Sustainability, Technology and Humanism from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He is an academic researcher at the Humanities Institute of the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano (Santiago de Chile) and responsible investigator for the Fondecyt Iniciación project nº11180158 (2018-2021) "Chile's solar frontiers: Desert, Antarctica, Polynesia and Space. A story of governance and social values of solar technologies in extreme zones (1976-2011)".

Estela Schindel

Estela Schindel is a research and adjunct professor at the Institute for European Studies at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), where she also acts as academic coordinator. She studied Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, where she worked as a professor in Computer Science and Society and Current Principals of Contemporary Thinking. She received her PhD in Sociology at the University of Berlin (Freie Universität Berlin) and completed her habilitation thesis in Sociology at the European University Viadrina.

Luz Ruffini

María Luz Ruffini es Doctora en Ciencia Política por el Centro de Estudios Avanzados de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), becaria posdoctoral del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) y docente de la Universidad Nacional de Villa María (UNVM). Su perspectiva retoma  herramientas de la antropología de la política y los estudios de gubernamentalidad para el abordaje de procesos  políticos y de subjetivación contemporáneos.
