This book is an invitation to school communities (students, teachers and families) to build within the school practices a general project that aims to reflect, problematize and propose solutions generated from the school context in order to improve eating habits and well-being as biopsychosocial processes.
The initial intention is to become aware of the dimension of the health problem that the Mexican population is going through in order to generate proposals and local responses, based on the investigation of the actors in the school space and the design of concrete actions to face the problem.
What is presented in this book are only examples of the development of projects that show some strategies to promote changes in the lives of children and adolescents. They cover various areas of life: food, play, movement, dance, theater, cultural practices and the relationship between people and the natural environment that surrounds them. They present a range of possibilities for each teacher and each school group to decide where they want to go in a change of the school's tasks, so that it is possible to transform the complex reality we live in today.
