Angelika Epple

Angelika Epple has been Professor of General History with special reference to the 19th and 20th centuries at Bielefeld University since 2008. She was spokesperson for the Collaborative Research Centre Practices of Comparison. Ordering and Changing the World (2017-2021) and is now its deputy spokesperson. She has been a member of the Rectorate of Bielefeld University since October 2015, as of October 2021 as Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs. Her research focuses on the history of globalisations, the Americas as an intertwined space, historical theory and comparative international historiographical history.
