Franz Mauelshagen

Franz Mauelshagen received his PhD in history from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He was a Senior Fellow and member of the Board of Directors at the Kulturwissenschaftliches Institut (KWI) / Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities, Essen, Germany, where he also coordinated the "Climate & Culture" research program.

Christof Mauch

Christof Mauch is Director of the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (a Käte Hamburger Kolleg), and Chair in American Cultural History at LMU Munich. He is an Honorary Professor at the Center for Ecological History of Renmin University in China, a past President of the European Society for Environmental History and a former Director of the German Historical Institute in Washington, D.C. (1999-2007).

Angelika Epple

Angelika Epple has been Professor of General History with special reference to the 19th and 20th centuries at Bielefeld University since 2008. She was spokesperson for the Collaborative Research Centre Practices of Comparison. Ordering and Changing the World (2017-2021) and is now its deputy spokesperson. She has been a member of the Rectorate of Bielefeld University since October 2015, as of October 2021 as Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs.
