Disputes over identity and future senses of meaning

Deer have a referential role in the image and relate to the need to address identities in "plural, territorial and intertwined." In addition to being alive, agile, flexible they are in constant motion. Translating the concepts and these qualities into an image, such as that of a deer/deer are very useful to portray a non-anthropocentric "identity" or rather to include non-anthropocentric identities.

The deer inhabits all the Americas, some species have collective defense strategies, it is a nocturnal or crepuscular animal (it is more active at dawn and dusk, i.e. on the border between light and darkness...), and so many stories and poetics around the deer/deer are very useful to portray a non-anthropocentric "identity", or rather to include non-anthropocentric identities.

Hence so many stories and poetics around its existence in different geographies, in different peoples and at different times.
