Margarita Hernández Ortiz

Margarita Hernández Ortiz holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences, a Master's degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Latin American Studies and a PhD in Social Sciences with a specialization in Sociology from the University of Guadalajara. She has received several national and international scholarships and prizes during her academic career, awarded by different organizations and institutions of higher education. Most of her professional life has been dedicated to university teaching and specialized training; to research and analysis of the cultural and scientific sectors; and to the design, operation and evaluation of public programs and policies. Currently, she is a research professor at the Centro Universitario de Tonalá and Coordinator of Cultural Extension and Dissemination (Cultura UDG) at the University of Guadalajara.
