Nadine Pollvogt studied Social Sciences and Latin American Studies in Bielefeld (Germany), Barcelona (Spain) and Guadalajara (Mexico). She holds a Master's degree in InterAmerican Studies from the Bielefeld University, where she is currently research assistant at the Center for InterAmerican Studies (CIAS) and executive manager of the Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies (CALAS). She is also board member of the civil association Welthaus Bielefeld e.V., which promotes sustainable and socially just global development, gender equity and the fulfillment of human rights.
