Gabriela Sánchez Gutiérrez

Gabriela Sánchez Gutiérrez has a Ph.D. in Institutional Analysis from the University of Paris VIII. She completed her thesis on the Process of Institutionalization of Non-Governmental Organizations of International Cooperation for Development. For more than twenty-five years she has offered specialized advisory services for the institutional strengthening of civil society organizations and International Development Cooperation Agencies, carrying out consulting activities at the international level, particularly in planning and evaluation processes of projects, programs, policies, institutions and networks dedicated to social development.

Since 2005 she has been a Research Professor at the Dr. José María Luis Mora Research Institute. She is a member of the National System of Researchers. She was a founder of the Observatory of International Cooperation for Development and is currently a member of its Advisory Council. Dr. Sanchez is founder of the Mexican Network of International Cooperation for Development, REMECID, and founder and member of the Coordinating Group of the Ibero-American Academic Network of International Cooperation, RIACI.
